With over twenty-five years of experience in managing, building and growing regional and national physician practices, James has worked with practices ranging in size from 10 to 400 providers and $15m to $200m in revenue. He has managed specialty physician practice transactions that included buy and sell-side, equity/debt structuring and buyback from strategic partners. He has extensive mergers and acquisition experience with physician practices and ambulatory care services as well as experience establishing growth initiatives and building organizational capability to grow organically and through acquisitions, including de novo expansion, physician recruitment, service line expansion and acquisitions.
Within Grand Cru Physician Advisors, James leads strategic direction, completes goal assessments and develops business and operating models. He supports and embeds organizational capability to execute on strategy, manages initiatives to achieve practice goals, and advises on organizational structure and value realization options.
